Final Exhibition Project (V4163)
30 credits, Level 6
Spring teaching
On this module, you’ll use the skills that you’ve gained throughout your degree. Through a public-facing, multi-disciplinary project, you’ll make use of the univeristy’s dedicated exhibition space and/or the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts.
The project will take the form of an exhibition (virtual or physical) with programming and promotional activities around it. You’ll work in groups and choose which part of the exhibition and related activities you wish to contribute towards. This includes:
- exhibition research and design
- social media campaign
- podcasts
- journalistic write-up
- outreach events etc.
Through this module, you’ll have the opportunity to further develop and refine the employability skills that have been woven throughout your degree.
Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 300 hours of work. This breaks down into about 55 hours of contact time and about 245 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
