Photography Studios 

Photography Studio 1 has black or white backdrops, five Bowens 750w flash heads, an array of soft-boxes and accessories available.

Photography Studio 2 is smaller and set up for still life and tabletop photography. This studio has several Godox flash heads with accessories, and are Bowens fit so that soft boxes and other light modifiers can be shared between the two studios.

Printing & Scanning Facilities 

Printing and scanning facilities are available in the Digital and Photography Print Suite which houses a range of professional printers and scanners so you can develop high quality projects throughout your degree.

This facility comprises three workstations with Mac Minis and colour corrected BenQ monitors.  

Computer labs

We have seven computer labs, five of which are equipped with iMacs, and two with PCs. Outside of timetabled teaching and technical demonstrations, these labs are available 24/7  (with the exception of the Christmas and New Year closure). 

You have full access to the entire Adobe Creative Cloud and many other software packages. Please find the full list of available software 

Equipment Store & SISO

Our Photography cameras are predominantly Nikon, both DSLR and mirrorless, crop sensor and full frame, all with an assortment of lenses, prime lens kits, portable flash guns, and other accessories. Pentax 645Z and Fuji GFX 50 medium format cameras  are also available. 

A wide range of portable lighting kits are available to you including LED light panels,  Bowens flash kits, and a variety of useful accessories. 

We use an online equipment and facilities booking platform called SISO, where you will be able to book the equipment and facilities you need for your studies.
