We are proud to announce that in 2025 the School of Psychology was awarded the Athena Swan Gold Award – the highest award the charter bestows. This recognises and celebrates our progress and continued commitment to making the School of Psychology an inclusive and supportive place for students and staff.

Athena SWAN comprises of three levels of recognition for efforts to advance gender equality: Bronze, Silver and Gold. The School was awarded a Bronze award in 2016 and a Silver award in 2020.
