Dominika Varga attended the Organisation for Human Brain Mapping conference held in Seoul, Korea between June 23 – June 27, 2024. She presented her work titled ‘The neural correlates of different sources of surprise: Evidence from two naturalistic fMRI studies’ and had the opportunity to give both a poster presentation and a talk selected for the Learning and Memory session. She greatly enjoyed learning about cutting-edge brain research around the world and meeting old and new friends at the conference. In addition, she had a great time exploring vibrant Seoul and marvelling at the views from Bukhansan National Park.
