Brought to you by Black at Â鶹ӳ»­ and ; The Black Creatives Lab is a one-day immersive experience designed to support, celebrate, and elevate Black students interested in careers across the creative industries.

On Wednesday 22nd April 2026 from 12:00pm - 5:00pm on the Â鶹ӳ»­ Campus, what we have planned isn't just another career event. The Black Creatives Lab is a space created for you to connect with industry leaders who look like you, to develop your skills and professional development.

​Your day will include:

• ​Industry Q&A Panel – Hear directly from Black professionals - Liy Grant, a Creative at Mother London and Selicia Richards-Turney, co-founder at The Shift (former Brand Marketing Manager at Uber UK and GetYourGuide) - navigating careers in the creative industries. Ask the questions that matter to you about breaking in, building your brand, and thriving in creative spaces.

• ​Interactive Workshops – Two hands-on sessions covering:

  • ​Briefing and developing creative ideas for media

  • ​Building your personal brand as a creative professional

• ​Networking Mixer – Connect with peers, and build meaningful relationships with fellow creatives and industry professionals.

​Plus: Complimentary lunch and refreshments throughout the day
