Module learning outcomes
Apply your understanding of disease mechanisms to investigate, gather, analyse and interpret data from clinical case studies.
Demonstrate a critical understanding of disease pathology and clinical interpretation of cases from the areas of blood science, clinical biochemistry, virology and microbiology
Explain normal haematopoiesis and show in-depth knowledge of haematological conditions such as anaemias, bleeding and coagulation disorders
Apply knowledge of professional standards of practice including patient safety, quality control, delivery of high-quality care, data protection and collaborative team work and communication skills
