Where Makers Meet: First Thursdays Open Lab

Introducing First Thursdays Open Lab, a new initiative ideated and led by Associate Professor in Digital Media Practice and Âé¶¹Ó³» Digital Humanities Lab Fellow .
What is First Thursdays Open Lab?
First Thursdays Open Lab is a space for creative practitioners of all levels to lock in while working in the company of their peers, from beginners right up to advanced makers.
What type of activity is expected?
First Thursdays Open Lab is open to all forms digital practice, whether working on a game, a digital archive, or some other creative project. Coders, programmers, gamers, and dreamers are all welcome. The idea is to make things whilst making friends.
Who can participate?
Everyone at Âé¶¹Ó³» is welcome. Researchers, students -undergraduates or postgraduates- professional and technical staff, faculty, all are welcome and supported.
How to participate?
Just bring your tech, grab a chair, and make something. Pop along the lab in Silverstone Building Level 2 (opposite SB211) the first Thursday of each month (except holidays and minimum service days) anytime between 10am and 1pm. No need to book!
First Thursdays Open Lab will commence on Thursday 5th March at 10am.
